Our Mission

We fight against hunger and food insecurity and believe that empowering communities is at the heart of a better future. Every day we nurture and inspire people to respond, empower and unite to achieve a hunger-free world. Our collective power stems from our volunteers, our NGO partners and the unique ecosystem of our founding partner, Sodexo.

Our Beliefs

  • Unite

We bring together volunteers, businesses and nonprofits to fight hunger — raising awareness, serving meals, funding solutions and responding to crises with the power of collective action.

  • Respond

Stop Hunger provides vital food aid, funding programs like backpack grants, summer meals and campus pantries to ensure communities have daily access to nutritious food.

  • Empower

Beyond food aid, Stop Hunger invests in youth-led solutions and workforce programs that break the cycle of poverty, equipping individuals with skills, education and opportunities for lasting change.

Respond, Empower, Unite

Each day, we inspire a movement of people to take action, empower others and bring communities together.

Impactful Programs Transforming Communities

Through purpose-driven programs, we unite communities in the fight for a food-secure future for all. With initiatives like our Backpack Program and Campus Move Out Week, we reduce food waste and grant access to meals on weekends. We raise awareness on the importance of nutritious and plant-forward foods while collecting donations in our Love the Planet Food Drive.

Because we’re stronger together.
