(September 22, 2025) - In September, more than 40 leaders from 12 organizations came together with the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation at Warren Wilson College in Western North Carolina for a powerful think tank focused on enhancing disaster relief efforts. This collaborative gathering explored how nonprofits, partners, and stakeholders can unite to deliver critical resources, hands-on support, and renewed hope to communities impacted by natural disasters and traumatic events across the U.S.

Following the morning discussions, participants rolled up their sleeves to volunteer with MANNA FoodBank and a community mobile market—providing direct food assistance to residents in high-need areas, especially those facing food insecurity and systemic barriers to access.

In honor of Hunger Action Month and the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene’s impact on the region, the Stop Hunger Foundation mobilized its full ecosystem to identify unmet needs and support long-term recovery. Thanks to the generosity of the Foundation and its partners, over 300,000 meals were donated to the food bank—ensuring no one in the community is left behind.
