Applications due Sept. 30

The Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Food Backpack Grant provides $1,000 to non-profit organizations with an established backpack program. The backpack program must provide backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare and non-perishable food for students who are at risk for hunger when free or reduced-price school meals are not available. Backpacks are typically distributed on weekends, holidays or when school will be closed for multiple days.

On behalf of the local non-profit agency that is administering a backpack food program, Sodexo employees may apply for a $1,000 Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation backpack grant. Grants will be awarded directly to the local non-profit to help offset cost of food. In order to be considered for funding, please complete the application before Sept. 30.
