K12 Food Backpack Grants - Grant Amount: $1,000

Since 2006, the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation has supported food backpack programs across the United States. Through these programs, Sodexo works with local food banks and schools to provide backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare, non-perishable food for K-12 students who are at risk for hunger when free or reduced-price school meals are not available. Backpacks are distributed to students in easily accessible, safe environments the last day of school, before a weekend or holiday. To apply for this $1,000 grant please complete the online application form. Nominated schools are not required to be a Sodexo account.
